Hey liberators,

What are your answers for people (wife/husband/roommate/mother) when they say you're crazy for keeping the old skool Mac stuff in your closet? I have a collection that is up there with some of the larger ones I seen in your signature files (my sig file omits most of my Macs which are PowerPC and thus disqualified).

The "legal" ones are allowed, because I use them on a day-to-day basis, but the long-term projects get me in trouble because I have them stashed in the shed, closet & under the bed.

LCs are easy to keep as they're so skinny, but get a few 7300s together and you'll soon see what I'm taking about. I recently had to convert an 840AV and 8100 into a stand for my MIDI keyboard.

I have tried: "Some people collect stamps, I collect..." and "It seems such a waste to throw out a perfectly good..." [that one doesn't work for the ones that need parts].

I had to get rid of them all because we moved, but one of the things I say is "well I do have the space"

Crack is a funny/not funny subject ey? Funny for some things, not funny if someone is addicted. . .crack sucks. . .I hope that none of us come close to dealing with any sort of situation involving that nasty substance. Manufactured drugs are scary. . .I'll stick with the naturals any day

heh
I once saw this teeshirt, with a really skinny getting crushed in between a really huge fat lady's...aaah....hind cheeks...heh

the caption was "crack kills, just ask lenny"

as for bringing computers home, my parents ask me how much I spent, I usually tell them nothing, and they shake their heads and walk away...
