I'm looking for at least 500megs of 2.5 inch scsi drive to replace a very crowded 320megger. I'd say I'm looking for a gig or more but those seem to have a lot of gold contacts in them or solid platinum bits or are assembled by virgins in a cave somewhere high in the Swiss Alps only during months that end with H or L. You get the idea. |

assembled by virgins...LOL!if you don't find a HD, have you considered something external? An external HD, or a ZIP drive will probably cost less. 68k MLA ParaMedic |

Po-litically correct virgins, at that, since I didn't get around to specifying whom just so's I don't set off any alarms in here.I did think about externals but, gee, this already heavy-at-seven-pounds-with-both-batteries-installed thing is getting less an' less portable as I go along. As it stands the batteries are worth about an hour apiece so packing the adapter is a must and I haven't even started looking at a cd for it. Maybe I should just get an imac and bungee cord it to one of those luggage cart thingys?

I have a 500MB 2.5" SCSI drive. It was going to go into my Duo 280c, but since the mobo died, I'm planning on replacing it with one from a 2300c, in which case I'll be able to use 2.5" IDE drives. If you're interested, let me know. I'd be willing to sell it for $30 or trade.666th poster to the 68K Macintosh Liberation Army Forums Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 Visit my site! |
