Hello all,I have a Hi8 Canon ES8400 Video Camera I am thinking about selling. I am selling not because of the defect, but because I am craving DV goodness.
This unit records find, battery is good, everything works 100% except something very important to me, the pause(fade), stop(BLC), and Play(Digital Zoom) buttons do not work. The unit was dropped, and I am guessing it is just some loose wiring/buttons. It only had a 90 day warentee, or so my parents say, so its as good as gone as far as they are concerned. It functions wonderfulyl except those three functions, and if you have a hi8 vcr, you are set, I however do not. This thing retails for $600-700, and I have seen it on sales and such for $300-400 (havent seen one recently on ebay). I am asking if there is any *interest* at taking it at $150-$175. This would help greatly in my quest to get a DV camera.
