The Cube case is way too small for any of the desktop machines. One of the PB or Duo's might fit if the mobo is small enough or is divided in the smaller mother/daughter/aunt/cousin boards.G4From128k by Day: Mild-Mannered Engineer and Trapeze(tm) Artist by Night: Colonel of Truth, Justice, and the Macintosh Way Reserve Officer in 68kMLA Cantankerous Coot Contingent

Hmm, well, I've never seen a cube in real life, so that's probably why I didn't think of it... heh.NobleArc, |

That would work, Cory, but it'd probably end up the size of a NeXT Cube."**** em" - Jobs in regards to customers Warrior maclover5 68kMLA Official 68kMLA Detective Number of 68ks Liberated: 7 Number of Contraband (PPC) Liberated from the Dumpster: 1 |

I once had tried to put an LC III inton a Cube case, the only hitch was that these cases were so expensive, people wanted 200 dollars just for the case it was unreal. But I did the math and the LC III would go in, although it would need some help, and you might have to sacrifice something depending on how everything fits in. (ie; the board might have to go on a slant to fit and that means little or no upgrades, like no CD or floppy)But if someone has a spare Cube case it's worth a hack.

Why hack a cube case for a mod like that? Go buy some plexiglass and make your own cube.

Well, you could always try making one with this...http://powerlogix.com/products2/enclosure/ It is a third party G4 Cube enclosure that is supposed to have more room than the stock case. Looks pretty pricy though. AnubisTTP, Tank Commander, Bolo Division 68k Macintosh Liberation Army Macs Liberated:22 |
