I was doing a fresh install of System 7, (When I got the mac, someone had changed all the fonts, and there was a whole pile of usless pref files, and extensions for printers I don't own) so I booted into the ROM disk, and just because I was curious, I did a Get Info on 'Boot Disk' (the ROM disk) and it said the following

"Where: Hidden deep inside this machine..."

I also used ResEdit, to check out the credits in the System folder while I was there

LOL! I've always wanted a Classic for the in-ROM System.

That's a great Easter Egg inside an Easter Egg that you found. You should submit it to some of the Easter Egg web sites like www.eeggs.com, www.eggheaven2000.com, and www.eggheaven.co.uk. I think that they have the boot from ROM egg, but not the one that you found.

Same here. Haven't yet found one though.

But yes, very nice egg. I'm amazed that nobody's uncovered it until now though. Then again, i don't belive i've heard anything about signatures in PM8100 cases until i found 'em in mine though.
