I have a StyleWriter I that does a test print page OK, but it refuses to print in the Mac. It complains it is out of paper.

I phoned up a Mac store and talked to the guy I know knows alot, and he said it's dead, because they are engineered to not work after a foam piece fills up with extra ink from the catridge over time. Kinda like a lifetime cycle.

I tried gently taking out various foam pieces and cleaning them off, but it still complains, but it prints a test page ok.

Any ideas?
