Im using basalisk II, trying to emulate a Macintosh Classic, but I shocked the rom when taking it out, and its now useless. Does anyone have a Mac II or Classic ROM handy so i can use Basalisk, because i legally own 2 macs. Thanks, -Smiley-Guy:) |

Google, or look for the ROM on hotline, because if you have those macs, it's legal to download the ROM (for JUST your situation actually) and be able to use it.Actually, you shouldn't have taken out the ROM, because unless you have a ROM reader type of card for the PC, you'dn't be able to use it that way anyway. In addition, the Mac Classic's ROM isn't removable is it? maybe it was the RAM... and you should try putting it back? Also, I believe this'd be more of a baloon help topic, but I'm not the judge of that am I? Wrong section, try iether 68K Software or Ballon Help. And on a note, regardless of what you may read here, none of us can legally give you a ROM, because we have no way of knowing if you do own the macs, and distrobuting the ROMS is illegal. Best bet is a google search, or a hotline search. Plenty of anonymous placeshave them up.

Yeah there are Cory, Emulators Inc. sells an ISA card that you plug the roms into if you want to do emulation.I don't think buying this card is a good idea, but it does indicate several models that have removeable roms.
