Well, this is my 5000th post. The time is now 11:11 pm, and it has been a great night, just doing -stuff-. I was not going to start this thread, but to just have it as a silent event, due to the whole useless posts thing, but a fellow member suggested that I should start a topic, as he believed that it was an important part of MLA history. Its been a great time here, posting and chatting and just enjoying the older Macs. Here's to another 2 years and 5000 posts! 5000, WOW!I hope you don't explode when you reach 5412 posts like cory promises to do. I suspect the absence of the 6th star is due to a general fear of over-staritis. If everyone kept getting more and more stars with more and more posts, then in 10 years time all the pages of this forum would be covered with stars. G4From128k

5,000 posts in 2 years = 2,500 posts/year = 208 posts/month = 6 posts/day = 1 post every 4 hours = 1 post every 3 waking hours.Yikes! Guess that makes ML5 the Lance Armstrong of 68kMLA -- no one can match his pace! No, i won't. Otherwise i would've exploded way back at 5 posts. quote:

Thats an interesting calculation....only for the extremely bored, of course. quote:

No problem, wisof. I've made a bunch of useless posts, but i'd say that most of them are either in the other forums, or here in the Lounge, just discussing -stuff-. I'm not sure how many i've helped though...but like i said, its been a great two years. quote: oooh ... lots of posts ... hey, fancy donating some to the less well off
uWish. But yes, guys, thanks for the encouragement. Its great to know that in this community we can have litle celebrations like this without getting into trouble by those who are higher up (unlike that other forum....) Well, I reached my 500, a;though technically I could be at 750 if I stuck with my old name but I don't like that name no more. This name is now me. If you look at other forums, you will find me as this name mostly now.

Every once in awhile I calculate my posts per day, hour and stuff...it's interesting to see the stuff like, how one week without MLA affected, your average, and one free hour on fast internet at school may have affected it. I't Uber! ahh... the promised explosion... I have a few more posts to go huh?
