And anyway, the Japanese G5 situation pales in comparison to the weirdness going on Down Under. The Courier-Mail reports that there is exactly one Power Mac G5 in the entire continent of Australia, and it's touring the country "like a rock star" so rabid fans can catch a glimpse, or a touch, or maybe even a sweatstained scarf that will one day wind up on eBay with a Certificate of Authenticity. Thankyuhverruhmuch. Here's hoping that Rock Star G5 retires before it hits its Vegas-and-pills years. Can you even get one of those things into a white fringe jumpsuit? And if you can, wouldn't it screw up its four-zone cooling system?

-As The Apple Turns, window 3 today

heh,

If I open my window all the bugs will get in…That's just one more reason to use a Mac!

It was on the onset of my intrest in Apple that I went to check out a Apple store at Brookside, only to find out it had shut down. Kinda like how my onset of really like BeOS was after it was sold to Palm . I have the touch of death.

we all get together for about 5-10 minutes, act obnoxious somehow and then leave

one time, they all gathered at a hotel, applauded for 30 seconds and then left, another time they all fell down at the same moment... Latest one was at a mcdonalds in china or japan...

Did you forget the part about going in to buy T-Shirts since we'd be there already ? [Remember, Apple HQ store is the only official place to buy an Apple shirt/hat/watch/pen/etc]

Well, the FlashMob would look much cooler if they were all wearing matching Apple T-Shirts

And cooler still if they wore 68kMLA T-shirts and marched in formation.

How about with a squadron of Pluses that eject disks on cue.
