Would I be able to take the anolog board from a Classic II and put it in my SE/30 or is that an insane idea? Is there any difference between them except the brightness control function? The SE/30 gives a black screen, but with startup boings, and I was hoping to get it going again with the new anolog board.
Thanks for any ideas

Peter

I fixed it by transplanting the anolog board of an SE that I just acquired. Took out the board and the tube and put it in the SE/30, rebooted, and.. joy! Not bad for someone who had until recently never touched a Mac before, heh. Now I have 3 compacts and counting, somehow I can't seem to resist them :-)

Not to mention I got an ImageWriter II out of it. Yay!
