Hey, a couple days ago I noticed a post on a Canadian mac forum for a “free to good home/ must pick up” deal. What interested me the most was the two PB 170 that were somwhat operational. He said there was some other stuff as well. This is what I walked away with:

2x PC printers
1x 286 computer
1x PC monitor
2x PC keyboards
2x PB 170
3x Mac monitors
1x Quadra 605, (my first feets mac)
1x LC II
1x box of tangled random cables
7x Mac keyboards

It was all or nothig so I filled the trunk and back seat of the car! I’m still tinkering with the PB’s 170s. I haven’t played with the Mac desktops yet. I’m going to have let some of these go. In total I have 14 bloody macs!.

Btw, if it makes you feel any better, you can ruin my fun by saying the truth about "my" 1400...when i got the iMac, we did a deal...if he gets the 1400, i get the iMac. So "my" 1400 is now his. It sucks, but hey, i love that iMac. And besides, except for when he wants to use it, i still get unlimited access to the 1400.

I would gut the broken ones and keep the working parts, no point in having a dead machine.

LOL!

I once had 12 computers just in my room, and collectively, over all the time, I've owned LOADS of computers... too many maybe?
