I had a really strange but cool dreams about Quadra 700s last night. I was going somewhere, and i found this big pile of Q700s. Of course, i got as many as i could carry: 3. One was the same as my machine (20 megs of RAM, 250 meg HD), one was an empty case, with nothing but the PSU, and another one was fully loaded, and even had an internal AppleCD 300! (Caddy loading, of course) Then i woke up...

COOL!

methinks that a Macintosh 16" display would do the Q700 decent justice, or the MultiScan 17" *(because of similar design languages used betwixt those)

An AppleVision 1710 would, too, but that uses a different design language. I bet the 16" Colour Display looks damn sexy parked next to a Q700 though!

The sucky part is when you wake up and realise it was a dream and you don't have any Quadra 700s. 'doh!

Speaking of 700's and 16 inch apple monitors, that is exactly my Apple unix setup I have at home. look here http://home.cfl.rr.com/jupiterheights/DSCN5429.JPG

btw, the 700 is for sale for 20 bucks w/ a/ux on it already so now you dont have to wake up from the nightmare of not having a 700

LOL!

I've always thought of what it'd be like to have a Mac 16" display, or the Multiple Scan 17" display... dunno though...

My school has like 10 of those monitors…

but they wont let me have any…
and they aren't using them… they might even go to be recycled…

If I open my window all the bugs will get in…That's just one more reason to use a Mac!
