They are full of backups from my the company my dad works for (an engineering firm). I don't have a tape drive right now that can read them, so no way to erase.
I was thinking like $30+S&H since they are old, used, and such. I will also have to get an exact count, as there are some DDS cleaner things in there as well, which I would include, I just like being acccurate.

Hey, will you take 15 plus s/h for half of the tapes and half of the cleaning tapes? I dont need all of them and that way others can get in on the action.

Wave a magnet in front of those tapes, away from your other stuff, make sure it's a good magnet...

if you want his tapes so that you can read them and get some fun data, shame on you... (well it seemed like a good thing to say when I thought of it...)

is that 400 AMD board an AT board? and you wouldn't happen to have a case for it?

I probably can't buy anything anyawy... PAF issues and such

Me? No I just want the tapes because I have 2 dat drives and could use them for long term backup since they are cheap.

Is the ISA backboard part of a complete system or something?

OK, just checking you know...

data from hard drives you recieve is one thing, but if it was on a tape, it was probably Uber important and stuff...

a good magnet'll delete the stuff... (or mess up the data so badly that... you know)

U_K, shipping is 8 dollars UPS, so $23 total .

The ISA backplate came in the rackmount case my G3 server now lives in. It was the backplate on the bottom, with several ISA cards, and the system I guess ran from the mentioned ISA-CPU-onboard bus-thingy. I never got it to work right, but who knows.

The 400mhz is AT or ATX by the looks of it, seems to have connectors for either connection type, weird.

You(U_K) and q950 both should get or have gotten already an email from UPS with tracking info and such. Let me know if you didn't.

I print the labels at home, then drop them off, so they aren't "shipped" until UPS comes by the store that ships UPS and picks them up.

You each got a little over 50 tapes.
