Do you guys get great satisfaction from making the last possible upgrade for your older machines?

My 840AV will be maxed out this week when the 68/50 pin scsi card and 10/100 network card shows up. I already have a radius spigotproav in the unit along with an 18gb video drive, 2mb vram, 128mb ram, and a 4gb IBM 7200 rpm main drive. Basically everything I ever wanted will be in the machine hardware wise.

Now if I could just find that 5 drive shelf for my q950 I would be so happy.

Yeah it's great! I still have a maxed out 6100, full RAM, full cache, 4 gig drive, 4x burner, dos card.

I also had a pretty much maxed out 9600 but had to sell it, at least it went to a friend so it's in a good home.

9600/233
G3 400@485 with 1MB L2 cache
VooDoo 5500 64 MB
Wired4DVD decoder card
VST ultratek IDE card
Pioneer 16x DVD
Sony 24x10x40
18.2 gig SCSI barracuda
40 GIG IDE barracuda
512MB of RAM
Apple adjustable keyboard
Apple Multiscan 20

That was a fantastic but sadly OS 9 only machine. I've still got the PCI cards from it, they will be the hardest to pick up again and one day I will build up another one when I have more space. At least I pretty much broke even when I sold off all the other parts.
