Apple wants $129 for a new battery, I have a like-new battery, obviously it's not new, but it's pretty good. I think maybe $99 for this one would be good, but this is NOT an offer, I have to confirm it first, and maybe it can be lower, or maybe higher.

I might be interested in the G3 card… For maybe… 30$?

If I open my window all the bugs will get in… That's just one more reason to use a Mac!

Are you sure that you;ll get more money for it this way? Even if someone had to buy a new drive they could probably fix it for under 150 USD.

And even then I suspect there is more of a market on eBay for this stuff, the screen at least would go pretty quickly.

We've had to buy a new hard drive, a new Combo drive which is incompatible, and 2 new ribbon cables (of which one was incompatible). We're tired of buying things. We think piecemeal selling will get the most money.

All this stuff will be on eBay eventually if it doesn't sell here.

OS X 10.1.4 and OS 9.2.2. The OS X installed onto my old 7300 (NO G3 card) with XPostFacto so I know it works on non iBook machines. The actual iBook restore discs only work on iBook though.

is there not enough parts to assemble this as a whole and try to sell it as an "iBook" rather than all these silly parts?

I bet someone'd much rather pay $600 for a well rebuilt iBook, than $500 for a billion teeny tiny parts...

A bunch of essential parts are already sold like the LCD. Actually, this is an assembeled iBook, but the problem was that the combo drive was screwed up, and the value of the iBook without the drive, despite the drive only being about $200, would be more than $200 less than the value with the drive.
