this isn't really a computer liberation, it's a peripheral liberation. but it'll work with 68k so i think it counts.. a computer store i went to last weekend had a bunch of stuff sitting on a shelf, so i was looking through it and i found a box that said Dayna on it so i pulled it out. the package was called CommuniCard MultiPack, and it comes with a PCMCIA modem and ethernet card. everything is included, and the best part: none of it has ever been used! the software is still in it's original shrinkwrap. the cards will work with a PB190 or 5300. (i have neither.. yet)

oh yeah i got an LCII there too. it's like my 5th one.

BTW, all i paid for this stuff was $10.

NIB peripherals and software are almost as good, if not better than NIB computers

boxes and such make GREAT display pieces as well

Cool! Btw, why are NIB peripherals better than NIB computers? Just wondering.

NIB periphs are better cuz you can use them straight out of the box. NIB computers however require time to think of a use. IMO

Good point, but sometimes peripherals require a bit of creativity too.

maclover5: i thought of that years ago! Now It Can Be Told: A concerto for MacPaint and Imagewriter.

The idea is to create a bitmapped image with alternating areas of black that make a rhythm. Other imagewriters print other doucments that match musically, do as many as possible. But how to synchronize them so they all print simultaneously! Perhaps Quickeys 1.0 or 2.0, something that can watch the clock as long as they are all synchronized.
