Hey all! this needs saying, and there's noone else to say it.The first issue of MLAgazine has Quadras as it's feature, but there is currently barely even one quadra related article, Anything quadra/centris/AWGS is welcomed and needed. I have two 605 hacks already a rackmount and a "stealth" (I'm only putting the rackmount into issue1 I believe) I'm looking for QuarkXPress 6 (final) so's I can continue work on MLAgazine, as the beta has become unusuable. I have recently "lost" a good deal of work on MLAgazine, but that shouldn't stop me from gathering content and reworking the many minor changes that made up the work that I'd done. I've got two Centris mods that are about half-done. If I ever get the film developed, I can send you pics and a writeup.Interesting tidbit #1 The Q610 motherboard can fit vertically in a fully stripped 128k case. Interesting tidbit #2 The Q650 used the same case as the PM 7200 (iThink), IIvi, and IIvx. I don't know if those give you or anyone else ideas for articles, but I thought they were interesting ------------------------- Llama-X Dev Team ·····Liberations····· ·A2:2 ·68k: 7 ·Contraband(PPC):1 ·They-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named(x86): 7 ·Other Systems:2 |

It didn't use the same case as the 7200, but it DOES use the same internal design as the IIci, IIcx, IIvx, IIvi, PM7100 and Quadra 700, and parts are interchangable between them."**** em" - Jobs in regards to customers Warrior maclover5 68kMLA Official 68kMLA Detective Number of 68ks Liberated: 7 Number of Contraband (PPC) Liberated from the Dumpster: 1 |

here's another update.I've started assembling the Quadra' feature, and it seems as though I still have no quadra articles... I got the QuarkXPress beta to work again, and whatever was lost is being restored now (I lost no content, just layout work...) ANY macintosh related articles, content and other things are greatly needed... Member Profiles (an idea that I've got) are also accepted, so if you have a picture of youself and can write a little blurb... I'm all for it! (so is MLAgazine) ideas, comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated and needed as well! Well, I will be taking a trip to Vancouver in a bit and be able to take picture of the 68000 Macintosh Laptop Clone, not Quadra but Mac worthy.I am doing some work on my 840 but nothing earth shaking.

Thank you MUCH!I may have mentioned that the only quadra material was what I have (an OLD review of the 840av, and "Macintosh Quadra... For Hopeless Romantics") I'm supposed to have... a 950/wgs95 comparison from foetoid an 840av "tricking out" write-up and some photographs from cinemafia a 950 thing from (someone who'snot on the MLA I believe) A/UX + Q700 from MacLover5 Maybe if we could get dana to write something about her favorite MicroQuaddies, and/or kinda "steal" it from her website, then we can pick on someone who has a quadra 610 or 650... I believe that other than the 800 and 900, that covers the Quadras. Next Issue: Duos. profiles of the machines, photographs and pictures, A/UX, possible uses? a profile of YOUR machines in specific would be nice, because half of us already have the entire TIL memorized, it'd be useless to publish a basic mirror of the TIL and/or everymac and such...basically, I can't control what you write, so I need what you can and/or will write... Are you still desperate enough for member profiles? Ive got a couple picts of me, and I could write something…other then that, Ive got a 660av with Debian Linux 2.2 Pateato [though, Im not sure if that's any bit interesting… It is running Gnome though; but I dont know how to use PUMP, else I'd use it for a server…] and a regular old 950 w/ A/UX [may or may not be running; though I do mean to get it working…] If I open my window all the bugs will get in…That's just one more reason to use a Mac! hey, actually that's a fantastic idea... I'll add a section for member profiles and such...and I would really enjoy whatever you can rig up in an article about yon's 660av running (debian 2.2 I heard you say?) screenshots, a rundown of what it can do and such...
