Today was my first day at Grob Systems, and it was good, except for one thing...My CHEVY borked!

I was driving along on route 30 in my '92 Chevy Lumina 3.1, and at the I-75 junction, I caught a whiff of antifreeze. I thought it was the truck beside me, but I guessed wrong. After punching the core of a storm, I made it to my parking space at Grob, then the temperature idiot light came on. At least I got to work on time, but I had my doubts about the condition of the engine after overheating

There wasn't a drop of coolant left in the engine, but the block wasn't too hot. Since there was no coolant, I couldn't find the leak. After I got off (after 8.5 hours), I found the leak in a stupid heater hose and fixed it enough to get home...and I just got done fixing it right.

As far as the job goes, it is great! Today I assembled huge machining stations for General Motors (Saturn division). The fun came when I looked at a blueprint for torque specs, only to see a bunch of german

Sounds great! Shame about the Lumina though. Ah well, as long as you fixed it when you got back at home.

New jobs are fun. I always liked the first few days at work, it seemed really cool untill it starts to wear off and grind in.
