Today was my first day at Grob Systems, and it was good, except for one thing...My CHEVY borked!I was driving along on route 30 in my '92 Chevy Lumina 3.1, and at the I-75 junction, I caught a whiff of antifreeze. I thought it was the truck beside me, but I guessed wrong. After punching the core of a storm, I made it to my parking space at Grob, then the temperature idiot light came on. At least I got to work on time, but I had my doubts about the condition of the engine after overheating
There wasn't a drop of coolant left in the engine, but the block wasn't too hot. Since there was no coolant, I couldn't find the leak. After I got off (after 8.5 hours), I found the leak in a stupid heater hose and fixed it enough to get home...and I just got done fixing it right.
As far as the job goes, it is great! Today I assembled huge machining stations for General Motors (Saturn division). The fun came when I looked at a blueprint for torque specs, only to see a bunch of german
