I remembered today as I was arranging for the 5300 PB to be dropped off next week, that I had not posted anything on here about my latest project. Well here goes!I'm trying to hack the board and as much of the drive/power hardware as possible from a 5300 PB into an empty LCII case. I don't know how it'll go but both the PB and the LCII case were free so I'm not bothered if it isn't a total success, I have a few spare LC cases anyway!
It was basically seen as a cheap and dirty way of making a PPC Pizza Box without having to settle for a 601 upgrade or sending a lot off money.
