Some of us may know, that on February, 9 2003, I started (actually registered with apple) a Macintosh User Group.

This was called GPUG, Genecomp Portals User Group.

Now, I am overhauling it.

The United Macintosh User Group is a special online-only group.
I encourage you to sign up and have some fun.
It's status with apple is still pending, but it was just created at 12:00AM August 3, 2003 (the forum)

This is intented in NO way to replace the MLA, but rather to 'supplement' the MLA and provide a "user group" type community, not only for 68k machines, but other platforms and newer macintoshes as well.
