i ordered lots of manuals from motorola, which arrived a few days ago...

i finally figured out the difference between the 68040 and the 68LC040! the LC has no floating point unit.

i have manuals for the M68020 and M68040 families, and the PowerPC MPC-603e user manual. Also i have the Programming Environments Manual for 32 bit implementations of the PPC architecture... fun stuff.

Mot is kewl about documentation. If only it were so easy to find some facilities for replacing the LC on this Duo logic board with a real 040! I got no quad-flat-pack tools

In some ways it's also nice to have a nice CD full of PDF's for quick reference.

Paper is such a bore to store.

Yes. I'd much rather have my Service Source CD than 10 tonnes of paper.
