I got one in my basement that still works, are they worth anything or selling?. Also, I've noticed a SCSI port on my LaserWriter IInt, could I hook this thing up and make the printing quicker?.

Unless its in mint condition with original box and documents its probably not worth much, unless somebody really needs it for an old relic.

are you asking if your printer can use your HD20SC?

if that's the case... then the answer is "no"
the SCSI port is so you can plug the printer into the mac... thus making printing faster in THAT way I'm sure...

Could be way off base but didn't some of the old Laserwriters have the ability to download postscript fonts from an external hard drive that was plugged into the SCSI port?

Only one printer had a SCSI port for hooking it up to the computer, that was the LaserWriter SC. The others had them for downloading fonts and postscript files to. Dont mistake the port's purpose, you could fry something. The SC would also have had two ports instead of just one, that is so it could do pass-thru. The others only needed one because it was to hook directly to a hard drive and didnt need pass through because the SCSI chain originated at the printer.
