This past weekend was great for me. I was able to truly relax. I watched lots of movies and went out to the lake with my friends. But last night I experienced a perfect moment. I cooked a frozen pizza and was sitting down to watch Star Trek TNG. That is when it happened, a moment of perfect clarity. It is hard to describe but it was awesome. It is those moments that make it all worth while.

That's awesome!

It helps when your serotonin is working right. I haven't had many of those since I switched from the Paxil to this Lexapro stuff.Go to Top of Page

I read somewhere that most mac users liked Star Trek. I just got back from a vaction, and I watched the whole season 7 of TNG while I was gone. Ah, it was great. ^_^

Religious folks calls those "epiphanies".

Recovering alcoholics call them "moments of clarity".

I call them "happy little nuggets in the time space continuum". Ok, actually I don't.

Is it just me or is it that the smarter you are, the less happy you tend to be?
There's probably some proven link between intellegence and serotonin levels, the majority of the people in the advanced program at my school are on anti-depressants... Not me though, although I probably could use them right now.

I call it "not in the middle of a fight"

anyway... I'm not too much of a star trek fan

I sometimes have moments where it's clear to me... I'm not an alcoholic OR 'uber religious..' but sometimes it just happens...

I think it happened today even...
a moment when you understand what you want, and how you will get it.

I call it "Finally, I get it... Oh, wait... it's gone now"
Nah... It's hard to name something that you don't get often enough. And when you do get it, it goes away after a while and all you have is a memory of "Oh, that was great... I don't quite get what was so great about it, but it was great anyways."

Myself I am Bipolar. My teachers say they didn't doubt I had the potential to be the next Bill Gates (no god no! no!!!! helppp!!!) but that my attention span and line of thought was needing some disipline.

I never coul concentrate on stuff, and my mood swing were like random and it sucked. I went from having frineds to like being miserable and alone. I do take meds, but they don't do anything. I just learned to deal with it and tell the shrinks who told me junk weird stories to make them think I was really whacked.

I can't stand shrinks yet I want to be one....but then again, I actually listen to people....I give good avice. Anyways, this post seems out of character for me. Oh well.
