This afternoon in class, we were given old PeeCees to strip down and rebuild. Anyway, my machine was an Ipex. Just a normal shitty Ipex Pentium 100. BUT....the CD-ROM drive in it...it wasn't a normal CD-ROM drive. It was an AppleCD 300i+! Like as in the ones that came in 68k Performas and early PowerMacs! It was plugged into the SCSI bus on the SoundBlaster 16 in it. Scary, eh?"**** em" - Jobs in regards to customers Warrior maclover5 68kMLA Official 68kMLA Detective Number of 68ks Liberated: 7 Number of Contraband (PPC) Liberated from the Dumpster: 1 |

It's strange they would of used an Apple replacement part in one of those. Or maybe they just "Aquired" it from one of the macs that wasnt being used.-------------------- Christophillis- Portable Squadren Commander 68k Macintosh Liberation Army Total 68k Macs Liberated: 6.02x10^23 Or just 6 Commander, you have the helm. hehehee...get better images into your head... like labs of iMacs netbooting from Xserves... or AIX running ANS700's hosting RetroNET and acting as coffee tables and heaters!
