 I saw something really scary this afternoon....

This afternoon in class, we were given old PeeCees to strip down and rebuild. Anyway, my machine was an Ipex. Just a normal shitty Ipex Pentium 100. BUT....the CD-ROM drive in it...it wasn't a normal CD-ROM drive. It was an AppleCD 300i+! Like as in the ones that came in 68k Performas and early PowerMacs! It was plugged into the SCSI bus on the SoundBlaster 16 in it. Scary, eh?

It's strange they would of used an Apple replacement part in one of those. Or maybe they just "Aquired" it from one of the macs that wasnt being used.
