I'm wondering if anyone knows a place to get the video acceleration driver for a Rasterops 24STV card. I found drivers to allow for the video capture to work, but everything redraws so slowly that it's not really usable for that (even the preview looks choppy because of slow redraw). For reference, this a Quadra 950 with 40MB RAM, 500MB HD, no CD-ROM, the aforementioned card, and a Spigot card too. I was given it cause the prior owners (one bought it at an auction, then gave it to the other) couldn't get it running. Runs fine with a fresh OS install, other than the lack of video acceleration.
I know Rasterops charges for drivers, but really, their current ones probably wouldn't even work right on it. The Spigot drivers aren't stable past 7.1.

I just googled this one, it's strange to find a post in the list of hits when it's in an open window on my screen!

Did you try all the search engines? I got 10+ pages of hits with:

If you could e-mail them to me I'd be eternally grateful!

Is this what you need, marchie?

Spigot PowerAV - Pro AV
Disk1 - Install Disk
Disk2 - Extras
DiskExpress II

If so, same place:

Thanks, I believe that's where I got the other drivers for that didn't seem to include video acceleration, but I'll try them again. I may have jumped up to the 3.3 drivers instead of the 3.2 (though 3.2 *should* work). I also should try putting on 7.1.
A lot of my searched included pages and pages of postings on where to find drivers or old FAQs on the card.
