I've been trying to make Rhapsody DR2 and Mac OS X server CD for use on my 7300, I've done OSX 3 times, and Rhapsody 2 times, and I can't get anything to work...1) is there anything special I need to do when making a CD that has an OS9-based system folder on it? 2) I've gotten OSX.2 CDs to boot and work before, so that isn't my problem exactly. I'm also concerned with Rhapsody DR2, the 7300 isn't on the supported list, is this a huge problem? I've heard of people running rhapDR2 on the 7300 before...
I also would like to note that OSX Server 1.0 or 1.2 (haven't figured out which one yet) has this nice little dealie that allows you to install on unsupported macs Official 68k videographer Official MLA TourGuide "I'm just a normal computer geek who somehow landed a social life" I have alot of posts... if you don't like it than I don't know what to say. |

just as an update, I've burned a fifth OSX 1.0 coaster, and am now <getting> OSX 10.1 server, which will run on the 7300... This will operate on my 7300 as the Intrikit Weaver until I can get a newer computer, at which point I'll be saving up for a new, boxed copy of 10.2 or 10.3 server...for those who don't know, Intrikit Weaver is my server project, it was for school, and despite the fact that I moved, I will not let this go undone.
