It just came to me this afternoon. I had a really freaky dream about my Colour Display last night. I went and got it, after just sitting around for a while, and hooked it up to my LCII, and plugged it in and stuff. Anyway, i hit the switch, and then all these sparks start flying otu of the monitor, and both the monitor and power cables melt completely! Then, of course, i woke up....

Perhaps this is a message.

Don't plug it in! Don't plug it in it's gonna blowww!

Or, it could be that you have the dark inate desire to hurt a Mac and you're still trying to get over it, like a Windows user who has switched but still has bad dreams of his previous life.

Scary thought.

Although for me I never had a dark spot for Macs. I know some people had this unjustified bias towards macs but once they tried it they suddenly changed, but I always had this open spot for macs so I would never do anything even in a dream. So maybe this was just you having a bit of a nightmare, feeling sad over what would happen if you lost that monitor.

So, take good care of it and it wouldn't hurt to check it out and make sure those pins are in right.

Whatever. I've never had a dark spot for Macs, either. But yes, BoJ, you're probably right about the sadness. Anyone remember earlier on in the year when i thought that a girl hated me how i had the dream about working for Ipex? (A computer company that I hate, they really are evil)

Anyway, nighty night. Tuesday nights are fun...

Hehe, and wasn't it GREAT! I remember we had a HUGE ceremony to WELCOME you to the good side, with a special Mac bashing ritual to allow you to SEE THE LIGHT! It was GREAT! Then of course, both ML5 and I woke up. It is a shame that no-one here at the MLA has a Good Computer, an Ipex...in this dream everyone at the MLA did, and it was GOOD! Haha, evil is FUN!

A greeting from down unda brotha.

Down under seems to be where this dream came from. No explanation, dreams are like your mind's way of defragging, so....um.....

I'm sure there was a point to it but I've lost it now.

Here is a box of rotten apples for you my brother.

Enjoy!

In quake 3 this is what they say:

**-(unnaceptably rude gesture)-**

when you do or say something that ticks the bots off. Hunter is always doing that to me, I think she has a crush on me.

This dream shows your obsessive-compulsive side. In this case, your biggest fear is disastrous hardware malfunction. It all means that you just need to chill out and go with the flow...

Cory don't worry as a family man I am safe.

I assume you would be worried iether I was cheating on my wife with a video game bot or exposing my daughter to that game?

Nope, none of the above.

I'm not married. Never have been. My daughter doesn't live with me. So, yeah there goes. It's one of those family circles where it's all complicated. I'm basically and adoptive father to her, I'm the only real caring loving dad she has ever known. So don't worry. Besides, she tends to enjoy games like that anyways....although in a rather um, funny way.

Families are fun aren't they?

iWish I had an evil twin on the 68kmla.

Anyway, when I was in high school, they had all Macs and the poeple I hung around with hated them. They were die hard PC users, and to fit in, I took part in Mac bashing. It took me a while to get over it. I guess I never really strayed too far from my roots of using //e's in typing class and the LCIII at the library.

Of course, the computer labs had all Classic II's on LocalTalk and the library lab had like all 4400's, so you couldn't really blame them because they were using all the worst macs. Then you had people screwing them up all the time, so there was always a computer or 2 that you couldn't print from. And then they had the system locked down so you couldn't move anything around or put anything on the hard disk.
