Yesterday I finally got my Powerbook 520. I was suprised when I go opened it how g00d the condition was, it looks and feels brand new! Then I was amazed even more to turn it on and there was color, but its was just 16bit B&W but still rocks> Laggy with 4Mbs RAM I turned on Virtual to 45Mbs and its screaming with 7.5.3. Get this the battery lasts for 45mins thats hecka rocks!!!! Im soo happy soon a color screen, 36Mbs RAM, and PPC upgrade

this really should be in the Lounge considering this is more of a "lets buy a 68k PowerBook from eBay instead of finding one to liberate"

hmm yeah. Unless its quite obvious the Mac hasn't been looked after, it doesn't count as liberated.

You can't tear the smile off this man's face, a 68k is a 68k, no matter the condition.

Heh i know, but by the sound of it, i don't really think it was neglected by its previous owner, so therefore it doesn't count as liberated. Case closed.
