Well I was very pleased to see Yan Ulrich beat Lance Amstrong in the time trial by about 1.30!

I started watching the tour in perhaps 88, when Claudio Ciappuci came second. I stopped watching for a while. Big Mig was a big man & nobody could get close to him. It's a tough race.

This year Yosheba Bolocki fell after mounting a strong challenge to Lance & is now out of the tour.

Tyler Hamilton is still in & still challenging despite having a fracturd collar bone.

I think Motorola still sponser a team.

Yeah Lance is from Texas.

Yan took a further 19 seconds off Lance yesterday(Sunday), so he is just 15 seconds behind Lance.

It looks ominous for Lance, it is hard to believe it is happening because he is usually so dominant.

Lances US Postal team have looked weak & Lance himself is keeping up with the others rather than leading as he usually would.

& save David Miller (English) winning I feel the need to support the German rather than the American!

Lance dosn't make many friends within the peleton & a famous Lance quote is "The Tour isn't a popularity contest".

If you don't try to be liked they you may not be liked, I can have respect for the man but he certainly does'nt inspire me to cycle proffesionally.

GO YAN GO!
