hotline://24.206.73.121:2458 (not static IP - may change)

This is a test new 68K/abandonware Hotline server on my PowerMac 7300. Someone upload some stuff. There is an FTP server at that IP as well but it is only for GameMaker games. The Hotline server has the GameMaker games too but is mainly for abandonware stuff. All the GameMaker games should run on 68K though so check them out.

You should get yourself a No-IP.com account, it will let your site be online 24x7 with one address for free.

Also, when I can get a chance I will stop by, maybe upload some good stuff. If we get more community servers like this it will be easier to mirror software that is old.

I know all about Dyndns but I was just too lazy to create a new one.

Anyway the server is crashed right now and it'll be up later today.

Someone please enlighten me, what does Hotline have, other then banner ads and pay-to-pirate servers? I haven't heard anything good about it for a few years now, since Carracho came out.

I do have Zombie on my HD though, so I might check your server out.

The only good thing about Hotline is that it has been around a while, so there are 68k versions of the client and server software.

HL is MUCH better than doing HTTP downloads...
If there's servers that'll let you connect and download without paying... it's very worth it... I can connect and be downloading for only 5 minutes and still my progress will be saved...
Being on dialup, it's VERY important that I can continue downloads... even for 'not very big ones'

I know what you mean Cory. The only reason that I'm such a fan of HTTP downloads is because anyone can access it.
