The other day, I got a LaserWriter 310 at a government surplus store, and whenever I turn it on, the paperjam light blinks [even when connected to the computer]except for when I take the paper tray out [then the paper light stays on and the paper jam light turns off] Well any advice that might lead to a solution would be appreciated ^_^ btw, I already read through the PDF manual for the 300 [I couldnt find one for the 310], and it doesn't talk about the paper jam light doing anything more then staying on Thanks. ^_^ If I open my window all the bugs will get in… That's just one more reason to use a Mac! I'm pretty sure it's not the paper tray, since it seems to be in good condition…But I did find the Apple manual for the 310 in the develper section and it says that a flashing paper jam light means "The printer requires service" or something like that… But I'd rather try to fix it my self if it's possible… Thanks ^_^ If I open my window all the bugs will get in… That's just one more reason to use a Mac! I had the same deal with my 360. The service manual says it's bad RAM, so I replaced the module but it still didn't work. So I pitched it.ftp://download02.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/Misc/Service/servicemanuals/laserwriter_select.pdf -------------------- master of the Quadra/Centris Stick of Justice™ and figure-head of the Peoples' PDS Republic -------------------- |
