Did I mention my Birthday is in Feb 2004? :)I actually have a dislike for most new PPC's. The Aqua design, those stupid cases. I want sleek looking cases like you see in major Sci Fi shows. Apple supplies enough machines and software for those projects why can't they strike a deal for a few cool designs used in the movies? Imagine a Star Trek LCARS machine running Mac OS X, that would be quite cool, I'm sure if they made a small Newton that ran LCARS it would sell like hotcakes. You have to sell what people have always wanted. Sci Fi geeks would be drawn to Apple if it sold major designs used by Films. Heck, even a G5 that loosk like HAL. Why not? ;-) Edited by - The Balance Of Judgement on 07 Jul 2003 03:12:56

But we know that nothing can take your obsession for the Quadra 605 away Dana. ;-)BTW, is your 605 all polished up with yellow taken off? I can't see much in the photo of the 605, but I do know it's hard to get them clean if they are yellow.

Hmmm... I wonder if we can host 68kMLA Forums on Dana's 605? That 605 is robust and seems plenty fast to me.G4From128k by Day: Mild-Mannered Engineer and Trapeze(tm) Artist by Night: Colonel of Truth, Justice, and the Macintosh Way Reserve Officer in 68kMLA Cantankerous Coot Contingent

Indeed. Her 605 might have plenty of power, but not enough to host the MLA. "**** em" - Jobs in regards to customers Warrior maclover5 68kMLA Official 68kMLA Detective Number of 68ks Liberated: 7 Number of Contraband (PPC) Liberated from the Dumpster: 1 |
