Did I mention my Birthday is in Feb 2004? :)

I actually have a dislike for most new PPC's. The Aqua design, those stupid cases. I want sleek looking cases like you see in major Sci Fi shows. Apple supplies enough machines and software for those projects why can't they strike a deal for a few cool designs used in the movies?

Imagine a Star Trek LCARS machine running Mac OS X, that would be quite cool, I'm sure if they made a small Newton that ran LCARS it would sell like hotcakes.

You have to sell what people have always wanted. Sci Fi geeks would be drawn to Apple if it sold major designs used by Films. Heck, even a G5 that loosk like HAL. Why not? ;-)

But we know that nothing can take your obsession for the Quadra 605 away Dana. ;-)

BTW, is your 605 all polished up with yellow taken off? I can't see much in the photo of the 605, but I do know it's hard to get them clean if they are yellow.

Happy birthday!

Looks like someone else decided to leave you a little present too... Did you notice your website's been hacked?

Hmmm... I wonder if we can host 68kMLA Forums on Dana's 605? That 605 is robust and seems plenty fast to me.

Indeed. Her 605 might have plenty of power, but not enough to host the MLA.
