Yes, that's right. I have finally genetically modified an unsuspecting AppleVision 1710, to grow into a 1710AV! The AV base fit perfectly on the monitor where the old one used to be. It works just like a real 1710AV does, and the computer can't tell the difference. And man those speakers are NICE! They're almost as good as these Harman/Kardons! Who made the 1710AV speakers, anyway? Either way...i like it. Piccies and a how to on the procedure are to come!
