And if cory wishes to speak with me he should do it via email. I am leaving your portals group, even though it will never get done, cause lets face it, you have (usually) great ideas but then expect others to be the source of what happens. -danny You! The Balance Of Judgement Senior Member Ivory Coast 1006 Posts	Posted - 04 Jul 2003 : 07:45:14 I've noticed myself other than the talking about Mac stuff things have changed on the forums, it seems everyone's lives are moving in different directions and this will always lead to conflicts and differences. Although it may be hard, I have at times had to just apologize to people I had differences with even if I felt or was in the right because we can't continue with fights or standoffs. I'm sure when you look back in a few years this will seems a really small and somewhat insignificant event compared to everything else. Only advise I have is not to allow one person or differences they have to stop you from posting here and being here. It just seems like a waste. After all, this place is dedicated to 68K macs, and the 68k mac didn't get into a fight with you or insult you. So, if not for the friends, do it for the mac. ;-)

Besides, in time most arguments blow over and it would be sad to see you leave a community that you've become ingrained with because of one person. The two of you have been friends for quite some time over AIM and here. Right now, you may feel anger would be permenent, but eventually that will ebb. Consider what a friendship is built on. That foundation should see you through the rough spots that occur on everones road through life. I bet that if Cory is feeling just as upset, he still wouldn't want to see you leave either. I have faith in his character that he wouldn't want you leave everyone behind. Just give yourself some time to cool off and post here the way you always have. If somebody said something you didnt like at school do you transfer to another school or dropout? This whole thread sounds like a 4 year old got pissed over something stupid and said Im going home with all my toys. Then he wants the offending kid to email him and apoligise. If your tired of 68k talk then dont show up untill you feel nostalgic or need some help with a machine. If you have a problem with one member just ignore them, its not like you have to interact with anybody over the internet if you dont want to. If you run away whenever you have a disagreement with somebody better pack your bags for the next mission to the moon because thats where you are headed.

I won't ask you to leave the MLA, I really would rather ask you to stay... I just believe that your attack on me, as a person, saying that I am "spamming" the MLA... I do take that personally, and don't like it... I don't think you should leave the MLA... because I post alot and dont' personally believe that its' spam.... Don't go, I don't know what goes on outside of the forums or chatrooms that I sometimes participate in if my head can take the constant binging, but is what happened really worth leaving when you think about it? I can't answer that question, but maybe you can. If worse comes to worst, just turn into a lurker and post when you feel like it... That's what has happened to me with AppleFritter. A series of events went down that made me feel generally unwelcome there so originally I just decided to stop posting, but then everyonce and a while I poke my head back in there and have something to say about something. There are certain individuals on AFF I don't get along with in general due to their personality, and others who I have respect for and others who... well, I don't know how to explain it, but it's a good feeling.... There are some things I feel bad about when I look back on them, and others I just get upset about. But in general you just have to put those things behind you and move on. I sometimes think that my infinite popularity is a bad thing I really do wish that catsdorule wouldn't leave... the MLA is a great place and it woudln't the same without him... what I'm interested in is why people think that I'm bugging them... ohwell... As in do not bother to reply to my comment here and simply wait for a Moderator to seal the discussion and move on to other things and forget it even happened, how it ended etc., and never mention it again for as long as you live.
