....i FINALLY have my Learner's license! It's taken me 3 attempts at the test, but i finally have it, and will most likely be doing my driving lessons next holidays. In the meantime I have to drive with a currently licensed driver in the car, and my parents don't want me driving yet, but still....COOL!

You can make pigs fly by hitting them with your car. You can make turtles tapdance with a little Quicktime animation. And you can make a good Ipex computer by gutting it and installing a mobo from an 840av.

But I suppose that still wouldn't convince your dad to give you a free car.

COOL! *me says as I walk further back on the sidewalke*
I've determined a car is the main reason I never leave my house, nor pick up cool macs for liberation, or chicks for that matter...

Although...
I can take my first attempt at getting mine in like.....two weeks or something, wheeee!

Heheh, you just got your permit and I just learned how to drive a stick.
I didnt make the car do the whole "shake" thing at all! I LOVE driving the stick over an automatic. It is soooo much more fun to drive.

Yeah, I've always preferred driving standards. I actually got the timing down when driving motorcyles before trying it for the first time in a car. I really like having more control in the perfomance of the vehicle. Automatics rely on the computer chip to tell it when to shift. It's frustrating when you want it to stay in a lower gear but it shifts up anyway. What car are you driving now?

good luck though

I HATE driving automatics!!!

I've almost killed like... 2 people with mom's Jeep... (3 including myself)

Automatics and things that are really big on the other hand "LOVE IT"

So Cory, you have a "Love-Hate" relationship with automatics?

I think I've driven just about every kind of vehicle allowed to "Joe-Public". I just really like to drive. The next step for me is to work towards a pilot license. That would really be something to enjoy.

You could always drive one of those Automatics that pretend to be a Manual. Sport Mode Automatics or similar, way to many names . 6 Months till I can get my learners.....already eyeing off my fathers car

My mother said that my dad's going to have to take me to get my learners permit this Nov. because she's not going to go anywhere near the van when I'm driving...
I tried to tell her that driving sims have nothing on the real thing, it's alot harder to drive with a joystick than to use a wheel.

What I need to do is go to my friend's farm and take the truck around a couple of times. Of course, as long as it's up to my mum, I'm not driving till I'm 40.

I hope that Holden has a big set of roo bars on it because it sounds like you will be hitting things.
