Good Greif, I'm glad they didn't add the original Apple stuff in there. I remember them all as it is.

Although I am knowledgeable about everything listed, I wasn't around in the Mac community early enough to remember most of them. I was only 4 out of 14. (Minifinder, whirrr, IIfx, Charts)

I remember all those, but not in the '80s. I've just experienced them all on various occasions in the last few years.

I lived them all in real time. You are just a young old fart.

I only missed two of the items. I never had the Fat Mac experience -- I had friends that had Fat Macs and Monster Macs, but I never played with one myself. And I never played Dark Castle because I have never been much of a computer game player.

I guess you could say that. I remember when QuickTime was the "Next big thing", as well as the whole multimedia thing, the PowerPC transition, and the mid '90s, when the 'Net started to become more popular.

I think I still have the Quicktime floppy disk Christmas card that Apple sent to developers in the late 80's. And don't forget all the other Apple "Next big things" like Multifinder, Hypercard, eWorld, and OpenDoc.

Oh, yes, I remember HyperCard, eWorld, and OpenDoc very well! Too bad none of them are supported today... Think about how amazing HyperCard X would be!

YES! I would love Hypercard X, especially if they created a web-based player.

Hypercard was so excellent for quickly creating complex user interfaces. Ah well, technologies come and go.

I guess that I am just a nostaglic old coot.

Join the club! And just you wait till RetroNET! (My proposed archive of '96/'97 Mac pages that are being rapidly lost by the WayBack Machine) Then you'll be able to experience the nicer, faster Internet all over again!

hehehe... truly!

I would TOTALLY buy HyperCard X if it was a web development platform...

WebObjects lite?

Maybe we should all looki into WebObjects

CoryNET is similar to RetroNET (in it's theory anyway)
