TransMac claims to be able to burn Mac discs, but I'm not sure if that includes .dmg images. Anyway, it's worth checking in to.

It may be possible if it's true that DMG is a raw image, since they are not corrupted by being on a PC.
You would simply use a burning software that supports writing raw images and you should be set.
But since a DMG file can exist with no resource fork and suffer no harm, you can simply burn it to a standard iso-9660 disc and the mac won't have any trouble reading it.
This option is easier than trying to burn the image so that whatever info is on the image shows on the cd in the mac properly etc. The mac can still just use disk copy and mount it.

I am still not clear on mounting images prior to burning or not. There are times when I burn the image without having mounted, and the resulting disk filesystem is ok. Sometimes I do so and I just wind up with a cd ov an .img file! My experience has been quite similar, and I typically don't have many cdz (or a burner) to try it with, so I have not been able to experiment very much. This puzzles me!
