My rents gave the ok for me to pursue a goal of mine in the education career...

To go to college/uni in The land of Oz.
Sadly, neither I, nor my parents, know too much aboot this, but seeing as I am just ending my sophmore year, I should have plenty of time to get it right. I was wondering if anyone here has attempted similar or could offer some advice. Of course I am looking on my own, and not resorting to just you crazy bunch , but I also know lots of you here are either resourceful, or from Australia, or both .

Basically I am interested in citizenship, payment, qualifications to get in, etc, etc.
I am going into visual arts, but do not know the subdivision beyond that yet, I got two more years to decide THAT part

Well, I'm not sure about citizenship and all that jazz, but i know that you have to get some form from the government and stuff...but i'm guessing you know that already. Maybe some of the government websites or maybe even Customs may be able to help you. You'll have to Google it. As for qualifications, I believe that with most unis, you have to have gone through Grade 12 or the equivilent, and thats about it.

HOpe this sort of helps. Have fun!

Yeah, australia, hehe. I have gotten information from several collegs, some easier to understand than others. There seems to be a strong overseas setup amongst several of the schools, which is a major bonus.

My rents are still strangley bein quite supportive, and the only thing they are worried aboot is cost. What kind of financial aid is over in Aus, and would you recommend a certain 'kind' of it? *goes off googling more*

I have no idea. IIRC, HECS is only available to people who have been citizens of Australia for quite some time now. I can't remember exactly though.
