I dont like people burning computers like that because of the toxic smoke that comes out. There are alot of toxic and heavy metals in the monitor tubes themselves that can really polute an area.

I dont think the world would miss one classic mac like that, probably didnt even work anyway.

Now if somebody did that to a rare computer and/or documentation I would be unhappy.

yeah... air pollution would be something to think about...

I think that burning just about anything is wrong... but I'm a weird and somewhat picky person to begin with

Burning anything that is toxic is wrong (outside of a properly run commercial incinerator)

These days with alot of our trash being plastics, burning trash would be a major health risk if everybody started doing it now.

Oh, have you guys read about all the old unwanted computer trash ending up in poor sections of china where kids remove chips and other devices so they can be recycled into new products? alot of the leftover boards are burnt to get back the gold on the leads and the polution is crazy. They also have a huge contamination problem from the broken monitor CRT's. One day it will cost us alot of money to dispose of our huge computer collections for this reason alone.

Poor little Classic.

It would've made somebody a nice little 'puter or Macquarium.
