Today my 7300 had a borkout and I reformatted both drives and "restored" 8.1 to it from the iMac restore CD (rev. A)

I decided that I'd be able to run OSX on it OS 10.2 server

I'm using tomeviewer to extrace ALL the 9.1 files, then trim away the ones I dont need and then booting into that, running xpostfacto and then installing 10.2 server and deleting OS9 I'll being.

I was going to go into OSX.2 server on my TiBook... but I thought "why"

This is an update...

I need an OS 9.0 or 9.1 system file!!
BADLY!!
My OS 9.1 CD is not an original and won't install with less than 8.5 installed, I don' thave my 8.5 CD... and don't know if I'll ever see it again

If you have a 9.1 or 9.0 system file! AIM me! (aim = cory5412)

you logged out before I could get that... but I have something better! a whole OS9 install...

OS 9.1 install wont run in anything less than 8.5, but it WILL run in more than 9.1, so I created a hdd image on the tibook and installed it there, I then mounted the hdd thru the network on the 7300 and am, as we speak copying the systemfile over

I'll tomorrow run the OSX install program and XpostFacto

I thought that if you had a G3/G4 upgrade, and all the other requirements for Jag to run, that it would run on an Old World based PowerMac with XPostFacto. Weird....
