Yep, this sucks, of the four torx screws on the bottom of my 230 the last one (attached to the keyboard) is striped out, I've been fussing with it all afternoon! Anyone have advice or pointers as to how one would remove this screw! ::68k: Classic, LC, LC II, Q605, Mac IIsi ::Other: iMac DV SE, PM7500 -200Mhz, PM7200 -75Mhz, Apple //c::

A very small drill. Drill down the center of the screw and in many cases the screw will catch and come out, if not, slowly increase the bit size until you've drilled it out.SE 4/2000/FDHD/7.0.1 :) Q840av - Alive! You can use a Dremel or the like to cut a small notch in it, which you'll then be able to use with a small flathead driver to get out the screw.Otherwise, go and buy a screwout bit, which is a bit with reversed threads. You drill into the screwhead in reverse, which pulls out the screw as you go in. ~Coxy - Leader, Tactical Operations Unit Mayor of NuBus City v3.0

Yeah, as was said before, a drill usually does the trick for me. But still, ain't stripped screws a PITA? I was cleaning out my iMac the other day, and almost stripped one of the mobo screws!
