Yeah, I certainly wasn't first, or second or third or...., but I did hop on aboot a month after creation of these forums, IIRC. Didn't really hear aboot it from anyone, just kinda switched over after the Am 'incident.' Been a great time since.

I came here from another sphere. I've since stayed because of the orange-peel-like quality of the atmosphere.

Well, in my case, Google :-) When I was busy (again) strawling the internet for information on one of my dear old Macs... and when I found this forum, I really couldn't believe it! Nobody I know IRL gets my adoration for old 68k macs and I was starting to think 'what the heck am I doing this for?', until I found this forum and now I know there are more people out there like me! :-)

I found the MLA when I became an editor for dmoz.org, I was in charge of the 68k Macintosh Section.

So, listed there was the 68KMLA and so I jumped on the bandwagon.

I remember mine exactly:

I was looking for info about my Performa 578 on some site (i started at MacKiDo and ended up @ LEM) and that led me to the 'Fritter's prototypes pages (because im into that kind of thing) and eventually i ended up going from AFF to MAF and then here

that was... 14 months ago
