This feels really truly exciting to me, except from what I read it sounds as though they are re-hashing some old ideas.We here may all know what we want,...... Personally my computer would have ports everywhere, connectivity is high on my demand list. If we all here came up with a fantasy computer that we wanted Apple to build they may just go for it, because we are the experts here, we are the end users who use Apples computers, not just because they have cutting edge technology but because some of the Apple computers are damn fine computers. shaktiman Quadra 840av, prettymuchmaxedout8xcd drive

AppleInsider, afaik, isn't a reputable source. I remember them posting a "inside scoop" that Internet Explorer 5.5 was coming out for Mac in late 2001 and they posted a screenshot of the "About Internet Explorer" with the changed version number as "proof"--------------------

Well somethings deffinetly coming! Upgrade manufacturers now have 1.4 GHz chips the same as Apple. Therefore I think a reasonable predicition is that the new Macs will ship as 1.6 1.8 and 2 GHz. No idea about dual or single processors. I think DDR 400 is a given, AGP 8x probably isn't a big deal but it's mostly hype. improved bandwidth is what the G5 will need most. USB 2 is no surprise either. I want to see what new stuff panther has though, it'll be a lot more affordable than a new Mac too!--------
