The Oracle says.** FOR SALE Vectrix Monitor This is an _old_ 19" monitor. Model#: M2400-202A Part#: 91024321 Sold by Video Monitors, was made by Monitronix, now Capetronics. Comes with: Cable, 2 card sets PEPE PROCESSOR CARD REV C WHAT IT IS: I believe this monitor was used exclusively for CAD (AutoCAD, PCAD, OrCAD). I think it runs at 48Hz, and does 1024x768. It may do 1280x1024 (64Hz) though. I don't know because I have nothing to test it. emaq123 SE/30 and system 6.0.8 Now we're talking POWER! |

48 Hz......my eyes are tolerant, but not that tolerant! The 60 Hz Ipex monitors in the computer labs here are flickery enough, let alone that. Strangely though, my eyes have never had a problem with any of the old Mac displays that run at 67 Hz...then again, thats a higher refresh rate than 60. Ok, I think i definately need to go to bed now. wow. that's impressive for such an old card. this one has been modded and upgraded quite a bit (it had some form of DAC on it, which was literlally exploded from it getting too hot and the wire melting and shorting out and blowing the whole board) it could prolly do 1024x768@60Hz with the right display. one appears to have about 512KVRAM, and the other, much much less. these things are incredible (takes up 2 slots!) hehehehehehhe UUUBBBEEERRR SCORE!!!!THnx "moooooooooooooooooooooo" 10000Th poster and 1000Th AND 1500Th topic creator in lounge. and remember, if you try and install mac OS 10.2 on an early G3, you will go insane, and aquire a thirst for blood! |
