Quick news: Quadra 950, with 20 meg RAM/no HD, for $40 AUS (plus 15% duties). It's now got 6 (soon to be 7) half-height drives in her, and is to be a backup server. Look out for my guide to putting in lots of hard drives in a 950, coming soon! ~Coxy - Leader, Tactical Operations Unit 68k Macintosh Liberation Army (now with forums!) 00013 Macs liberated. |

congratulations :D. Do you have the 5-drive expansion bay? that would be nice to tidy things up. At the moment my 950 has a 105 and a 160Mb drive.... but with a mile-long scsi cable a-twisting around its innards! dana

No, there was nothing in the Quadra but for the standard shelf. The drives are strapped in two sets of three, with three off one bus and three off the other. There's three HDs for each PSU plug...~Coxy - Leader, Tactical Operations Unit 68k Macintosh Liberation Army (now with forums!) 00013 Macs liberated. |

Actually, i do have my 630 set up quite similarly. However, i just have the video system (no TV card, just AV in), and i have a 2 head mono VCR (Panasonic, model SD250), and my baby's waiting for an ethernet card to fill its comm slot -------------------------- Pizzabox LCs RULE!!!!!!!
