I think this quy either has a hole lot of virtual memory enabled or the ad has a typo and should be "68" instead of "128". If one could install two 64 MB 72 pin SIMMs your total RAM would be 132 MB.

A Quadra 610 can only address 32MB of RAM for each SIMM, so even if you put two 64MB 72-pin SIMMs in it, it would still only have 68MB of RAM. So, the 128MB total must be from virtual memory.

No one even bid on the Quadra. The guy even revised his/her ad and added more RAM ? Anyone knowledgable about 68K Macs must have wondered about the seller even though he/she has some positive feedback. My uncle e-mailed the seller and asked about the RAM and the seller's response was . . .
"I had the RAM upgraded after having the maching for a couple of years....I thought I added a 128 chip.. I havent had the machine up hooked up and to be honest, Ill wipe the hard drive before I ship it, but Im probably not going to have the time to check on a couple of megs of ram. I am surprised at the number of interested parties in an old box like this one."

Buyer beware indeed. I wouldn't buy anything on eBay that didn't have a "real" picture, that is, one that they took, not one from the mfr's website.
