Is there a Mac equivalent to Windows' Alt-Tab? I miss that.

Yes there is. OS8 and upwards respond to Command+Tab (or Apple+Tab) and for the rest of us with our older systems there is an Extension called Taskman which does the same thing. I can send you a copy if you want....

cheers
Flash!

Thanks, but I appear to be stuck now. Apple-tab doesn't seem to want to work in OS8.1, and Taskman readme says it's broken in OS8. =P Oh well, back to 7.5.5 I go, I suppose.

I thought that they introduced it in OS 8.5?

ML5, I think you're right - it was 8.5 or thereabouts when they introduced it.

I've got TaskMan v1.1 (although I'm missing the readme), I just booted a ZIP disk with OS8 on it to check, and it works fine.

Yeah, because I remember when MacAddict did the article about all the new features in OS 8.5, they mentioned that for OS 8.1, LiteSwitch would do app Apple-Tab App switching, as OS 8.1 didn't have it.

The TaskMan 1.2 readme says it's broken in 8. Gah, I should have looked for 1.1. Too late now... Ah well. Live and learn. =)

Shouldn't be too hard to find. Just check where you got 1.2 from! Either that or ask Flash if he'll email you his copy.
