This is a long shot but I need some help.

About 2 years ago i bought a new Wacom A4 tablet, this was when my trusty maxed out 9600 was my main machine. However I've moved on and OS X is now my main OS.

IIRC a tablet with an ADB to USB adaptor will work for OS 9 and Classic Apps running in OS X however it will not work with OS X Apps. specifically, Photoshop 7, can anyone confirm this?

I seem to remember hearing about wacom offering owners the chance to mail in their tablets and have the ADB interface replaced with a USB one but I've been unable to find anything about it recently and Wacom haven't returned any emails (which probably means nothing).

I'm not keen on selling it as i doubt I would get much for it certainly nothing like the cost of a new A4 USB one and one of the samller tablets wouldn't cut it.

Any suggestions? Anyone want to trade?

I thought that the ADB adaptors worked in any usb capable OS and with all ADB able devices...

example (drooling)

ML5 might be able to use my Apple Adjustable Keyboard on his dell...

that's just what I took from (macallay or griffin or somethin)'s website....

I think a lot of things do work, at least those that don't need drivers. I think the problem is something to do with Wacom drivers not being able to detect the table through the adaptor, I suspect wacom have made a consious descision not to support adaptors just to get some more money out of people.

Anyway I'm particularly irked at the moment, for some reason ebay notifications weren't working properly and I just missed out 840AV and 17 inch monitor for about 20 USD!!!!!!!!

yeah.... I'm still considering dropping a couple bucks into Wacom's wallet.... a tablet would be nice, especially for touching up someof my scanned works...
