I am indeed 31 years of age today,

My wife got me 2 books, which I'm not sure I'll read & an ugly tie.

I told her it dosn't worry me & it dosn't, it has been clear for a while that in some ways we have grown apart in our thinking.

When we had dinner in a resteraunt & she was smiling & I was happy.

Anyway I was waiting & didn't buy some things thinking she may buy them for me so I just got them myself, Loaded mag, The Fith Element PSOne game(saw the film),

Now I will also buy myself Dannii Minogues cd album & Sophie Ellis Bextor.

Been there done that. It's cool, but driving is kinda boring. Unless you have a suped up sports car and live in Germany...

...or you are about to crunch an Ipex with a 20 year old Holden ute that still runs like new...

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it sure beats a blank stare for starting a conversation.

Happy belated birthday, shaktiman! I am glad you enjoyed it and hope you enjoy your self-bought goodies. My wife and I have given up trying to buy each other stuff -- its just so much easier and more effective to pick out the things you want yourself. I even saw an economic analysis of the inefficiency of gift-giving -- the amount of money wasted and damage done to the economy because people buy the wrong stuff to give as gifts.

Again, Happy Brithday, you young whippersnapper.

Happy birthday Shakti. Just a year and half until I'm there myself.

heh... well I k inda stole my mom's router... but it doesn't want to ever work... I dunno why but if I set IP address manually it works as a nice hub...

actually... even on the Autobahn (sp?) the speed limit doesn't seem to be very (up) in germany....

dunno though.
