I'm getting a duo 270c and was wondering if I could install this. On one guy's site he says it needs an fpu which this has. But does anyone have any experance with using a 270 to play in unix?

A/UX? No chance.

NetBSD works, but without video, so you'd need a serial terminal, which kinda negates the whole portable idea.

Eudi at the 'fritter made a conclusive thread about A/UX compatibility, take a look here.

Yeah... that's basically it...

although... IIRC I really want to say that there was a way to do it on a 550c...

I really do! but the harshness of eudi... makes me think otherwise..

ohwell... there's another Cory Dream killed by the good mods of applefritter...

I'll make it work someday....

even if it's after apple either open sources A/UX, or I write a whole new OS! YAAY!
